Travel & Transportation

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects are centered around Travel & Transportation, so prepare yourself for a fun journey. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Today’s card uses one of my favorite sets from the mini catalog, Wonderful as You. It kind of gets lost in the catalog being surrounded by big beautiful stamp sets but it is just so incredibly sweet to me. It reminds me of the old movie The Goodbye Girl…a movie that I loved starring Marsha Mason, Richard Dreyfus and Quinn Cummings. I even have the soundtrack on my Spotify.

Besides Wonderful as You stamp set I used the amazing Pattern Play DSP from the Hostess rewards in the annual catalog. So many colorful papers with black and white patterns on the back. Pure perfection! I also used Basic White cardstock, Layering circle dies, black ink and light Mango Melody Blends.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,
Robbye Hamilton at Miss Hammie’s Crafts. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

  1. Your double layer of these pretty stripes is a great background. And the adorable little cab is perfect! I love this card and layout!

  2. The Pattern party paper pack had become my go to lately. Love how you paired the pretty stripes with the adorable car. I hadn’t noticed that stamp set until now either.

  3. Two of my absolute favorites – Wonderful as You and Pattern Party – together in one sweet card. So happy you hopped with us today, Pam! ♥

  4. That sweet taxi reminds me of the comic strips I used to look forward to in the Sunday paper! Love how you pulled the yellow from the fun DSP.
