Thanksgiving is the perfect day of celebration for me. From family gatherings, delicious food, to the beginning of the Christmas season. I love to give thanks for the abundance of blessings in my life. My card today reminds me that Thanksgiving is right around the corner and this makes me happy.
I used the Beautiful Autumn bundle for the leaves and acorn. The punch pack is to die for, especially the little acorn. I used the Word Wishes dies for the sentiment and the Woodlands embossing folder for the background. The only ink I used is Crumb Cake to stamp the acorn in a tone on tone with Crumb Cake paper. The other colors of cardstock are Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Whisper White. I finished it off with a touch of bling using the metallic pearls.

There are so many things to like about this cute and happy card – the colors, the layers, and yes, the cute little acorns. And the little gold metallic pearls are the perfect finishing touch.
