Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! While Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are actively ordering from the 2017 Occasions Catalog and earning products from the 2017 Sale-a-Bration brochure, we are also getting ready for the upcoming holidays. We are excited to share some fun winter-themed projects with you! Today’s Winter Wishes Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature each artist’s take on Winter. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I immediatly fell in love with Twinkle Trees on page 28 of the Holiday Catalog. Sadly, it has not had a whole lot of air play. The bokeh technique was the hottest trend a couple of years ago but I am still dazzled by it. I posted this card on a Facebook challenge yesterday and got a great response so I decided to dedicate this blog post to Twinkle Trees. My cards are all the same layouts but with different colors. I love the retro mid-century modern feel of these. Grab a martini and enjoy my Mad Men inspired set.

The card above is the original and uses Wild Wasabi, Smoky Slate and Soft Sky. The following cards show how much fun different color combos can be.

Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight

Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach

Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky
