Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs – this month’s song is “Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.” As you can guess, our Blog Hop today is filled with projects that are inspired by beautiful paper and beautiful ribbons – how clever! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
DSP and ribbons are a few of my favorite things so I was excited for this month’s blog hop. My first two cards use the Happiness Blooms DSP from the 2019 Occasions catalog.

I used the sentiment from the Amazing Life stamp set from the Occasions catalog and colored it in with light Calypso Coral and light Daffodil Delight blends. My pretty ribbon is Calypso Coral Satin ribbon from the Annual Catalog.

Oh how I love this DSP and its retro vibe. It reminds me of a dress I had when I was a little girl. The sentiment is from the Incredible Like You stamp set in the Occasions catalog. It is paired with WW cardstock and Night of Navy cardstock and ink. I used the Happiness Blooms enamel dots and my pretty ribbon is Whisper White classic weave from the Annual Catalog.

This sweet little notecard uses the Botanical Butterfly DSP in the upcoming Sale-A-Bration catalog. It partners with the Butterfly Gala set in the Occasions catalog which is where this sentiment came from. I stamped it in Gorgeous Grape and cut the oval with the Stitched Shapes framelits. My pretty ribbon is Pear Pizzazz shimmer ribbon from the Annual Catalog.
I hope my cards helped you get excited for the upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration event!
