Welcome to the Candy Hearts Blog Hop for January! Today we are sharing projects made using the new Sale-A-Bration products. After reading my post, I hope you will hop to the next person on the list below. Be sure to hop around to see ALL the great projects the Candy Hearts have created for you!

I used Darling Donkeys for today’s card. I love this little donkey so much. I made my background stripes by cutting strips of Smokey Slate, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron and whisper White and gluing them into a piece of cardstock. I then trimmed it down and layered it onto basic black and a white card base. I colored my donkey with coordinating blends. Such a simple background technique that is so versatile. I hope you give it a try if you haven’t already!

How fun is this card, Pam!? I love the strips you’ve used to create the background – and I love how you’ve coordinated the donkey (flower and all) with your beautiful backdrop. Love!
