Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects feature hearts, so prepare yourself for lots and lots of love. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I am glad the theme for this hop wasn’t stamping because this card was created with no rubber stamps. Instead I relied on DSP, dies, embossing and water coloring. I knew I wanted to use the Fine Art Floral DSP. This textured, vintage paper was a perfect background for a Valentine’s card for my sweetie. I got creative with the Love You by using the words from the Love you More Than dies. I used watercolor paper and then some Real Red ink and a water painter to paint it. I embossed using the Scripty folder on the white panel. A bit of Brushed gold cardstock and a gold hoop added the pop it needed. Oh, but wait! The theme this month is hearts so I added a cute little gold one that came from the Many Hearts dies to finish it off.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Linda Krueger at The Stamp Coach. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

This is awesome! I love every layer. You made a gorgeous card without stamping.
Lovely cad Pam. I didn’t realize that there was no stamping until I read your words. I like the colors, the gold ring, and the gold layers. The watercolor words are perfect! This is a Pretty Pam card! Thanks for sharing.
LOVE this card!! It is gorgeous! Love the way you have used the gold hoop. Curious how you adhered it.
I just dotted the Tombow glue around the underside of the hoop and placed it down. I set a large punch on top of it while it dried.
Genius!
Gorgeous card! Love the layers and the color combo. Very appealing.
I love the simplicity of the focal point on this card, Pam, and the beautiful layers beneath. So clever to use this set of dies! Love it!
The reverse side of the Fine Arts Floral DSP is as beautiful as the floral side. Hard to know which one to use. Your card is lovely. Can’t go wrong with dies and embossing.
Pam, This is so great and with no stamping! Wow, who would have thought that was possible, but you did it. Great job. Thanks for sharing!
Love this, Pam! Love how you framed the sentiment with the Gold Hoop!
The scripty ef and gold touches put this gorgeous card over the top! Love, love, love!
I love this card, Pam!! It’s amazing what we can do with the products even when we don’t stamp!!!
I’m curious how you adhered the Gold Hoop? There is no adhesive showing like I always have – please share your magic trick!
I just dabbed very small dots of Tombow all around the underside and then set it down. I weighted it with a large punch for about 5 minutes. The trick is in using small dots and lots of them.
Sooo pretty……loving the gold….
Loooooove this so much!!!
